1 Down, 51 To Go.
A visit onto the clear and crisp surface of the lake will give you little indication we are accelerating into a new year. Conditions on the lake are pretty static. At least today they were.
I like the "fresh start" aspect of January. A new year. A fresh start.
The local real estate market should be very active in 2004. The general interest in Lake Vermilion area property should continue to grow. That includes all lakeshore types (developed and undeveloped) on all area lakes, vacant recreational acreage, and rural cabins. The only sluggish property category in 2003 was residential property (rural and in-town). I expect activity on these properties would improve in 2004. Interest rates are still low. Local lenders are eager to finance.
The time to start your 2004 property search is now. Yes, in January. A prepared buyer is a confident buyer. The same is true for sellers. The winter months can be a great time to prepare for a sale. Please contact me for help with any real estate associated plans you might have for the new year. It's time to start.
