That's Nice.
We often burn a little firewood when the nights are in the subzero range. (That sounds Minnesotan.) You occasionally hear people comment on how wood heat is a "nice heat". (That also sounds Minnesotan.) But it's true. Wood heat feels nice, looks nice, sounds nice, and even smells nice. It can be a welcome compliment to the darkened and confined activities of northern Minnesota nights.
If you purchase firewood to fuel your winter heat needs, then the Minnesota Department of Commerce has got you covered. Please refer to their informational page on "How to Buy Firewood".
