I appreciate all feed back related to the content of this website. I can agree with each and every idea offered.

This website is maintained as "a resource for current of future Lake Vermilion area property owners". It is also a tool to assist me in listing and selling real estate. The largest obstacle to add additional content is lack of time (and resources). There aren't enough hours in the day to maintain real estate sales responsibilities AND produce additional content for the website.

I will try to keep as much pertinent information posted here as possible. I am lucky to live and work in the Lake Vermilion area and I am thankful to all who find this website useful for their real estate needs.

Bill
I think you do a really good job covering topics that are relevant to lake vermilion and real estate. If I were going to make a suggestion it may be around more comparative data. Showing price trends at Lake V in comparison to other big MN lakes could be interesting. Interviews with other people who can provide some added perspective on the state of the real estate market - other realtors, assessors, newspaper people etc that can help all of us put into context what is happening now versus history. It would also be interesting to know more about other developments around the Lake. What is happening in Tower with the development along the creek for example. New businesses, or interviewing existing business people, for example Sulu's has been a nice addition to Tower scene the past years. The Farmers Market times and season. Basically, writing about things that add perspective and contribute to the quality of life around the Lake.
Thanks again for doing a great job of being both informative and personal.

How about posting some sale prices ?MLS or not this would certainly take some mythology out of the market on both sides.

I love the nature stuff, but since this is a realestate blog, perhaps various factoids about the Vermilion real estate stuff.

Whatever happened with the bogus appraisals on the lake? How do they affect the rest of us?

Actually the mean offer is the market. Whether or not sellers with dreams of yesteryear accept it or not.

Agreed. A comparison between final selling price and the asking price would be necessary to fully understand the condition and direction of the market.

more telling would be a similar crunch with the offers. Being a buyers market, the offer is the market not the ask
