See Ya Next Year.
It looks like we can just about say good-bye to the 2005 boating season on ol’ Lake V.
The greater Lake Vermilion area had the first appreciable snow fall over the last day or so. The temps tonight are predicted to fall to the near zero mark.
It’s been a pleasant Fall season, weather-wise. And this winter-like weather change is just an overdue but expected event.
The Mayor of Hinsdale Island is waving off the boating season. And I’m sure he’s making adjustments for Winter life on the island.
So let it begin… bring on the Winter of 2005-2006! And enjoy!
