A few end of the week notes…

The past few days were filled with satisfying a portion of my annual continuing education requirements, a snowmobile day-trip, and routine time spent toiling at the ol’ brokerage.

The continuing education class was titled, “It’s Not Closed ‘Til It’s Closed”. The class focused on the potential circumstances and issues that might occur after an accepted offer but before a completed closing. It was a good refresher.

The snowmobile trip was a loop to the north (of Lake Vermilion) that brought a group of six riders through the Ash River neighborhood. It was an enjoyable day. The trip had a fragmented conclusion in which I became separated from the group on the Vermilion River. The separation was the result of confusion attributed to the well-established concept of “assumption” with an added dose of “lack of communication”. After a period of “where is so-and-so?”, the entire group landed at the intended final destination. A happy ending for all.

The office time was mostly uneventful. This may be related to the month of February. (February, left unattended, has the potential to become a snoozapalooza.) I can feel Spring lurking around the corner. If you’re thinking about a real estate purchase, now is the time to start planning for your new land, cabin, home, or business.

I’m at the office, give me a call!
