New Rivalry.
Forget Vikings vs. Packers, Twins vs. Brewers, Gophers vs. Badgers... now it's Vermilion vs. Pewaukee.
This 2 bedroom vacation home, with it's wilderness setting, is a real charmer. This home has had a complete makeover. Great northwoods appeal with a comfortable lake cabin atmosphere.
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has issued a news release concerning the presence on Spruce Budworm in Northern St. Louis County.
If you have visited the Lake Vermilion area recently you probably have noticed that some conifer trees are showing signs of distress. There are some areas in which significant numbers of spruce and balsam trees have died do to an excessive population of these native insects. This Lake Vermilion road access property has got development potential. The seller is motivated to sell and has just reduced the asking price by $20,000. It's now offered at $195,000. (Oh, the seller also reports a 45+" catch and release off the dock just this past week.)
On June 9-11 let a kid take you fishing for free! (It's Take a Kid Fishing Weekend.) Is your dock too big? The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has the answer. The Minnesota Legislature tackles the issue of wet boathouses. The Timberjay Newspaper has some thoughts for U. S. Steel on the proposed 3 Bays Project. And, finally, how to sink a (big) boat.
