Did you have any involvement with this plan? What’s going to be the effect on the lake’s propertyv values and such…

I did attend several meetings when the group first formed. The original idea was form a large lake development plan that could, hopefully, be used as a model for other large Minnesota lakes. The goal was to regulate lakeshore development so the lake, as a natural resource, remained intact. The effort was well intended but, it seems to me, that when a government entity tries to establish a plan that will satisfy all affected parties… a no-one-gets-harmed solution is an elusive goal.
The impact on the lake is yet to be determined.
