The goal of any building or remodeling project will be as unique as the individuals involved.

Are you planning a lake side cabin or home building project?

Consider this story by activist Medora Woods called the Tofte Project. Medora’s mission is immediately obvious. The story relates how she transfers her commitment to ecologically sensitive and sustainable design into a project to renovate a 1947 vintage North Shore (Lake Superior) cabin. The story is complete in that it details the design and construction challenges of the project plus the motivation behind each decision. An impressive story. And an equally impressive web site. It’s media rich with animation, photos, graphics, and sound. (For those of us in the land of dial up, load times will require some patience.)
