Lake Vermilion Real Estate

There are just two weeks before ice fishing shelters need to be taken off the lake. The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources reminds Lake Vermilion anglers that March 15th is the removal deadline date . If houses are not removed, the DNR notes that the structure may be destroyed, confiscated and removed with the contents seized and held for 60 days.

It is still legal to use portable shelters after March 15th but only from one hour before sunrise to midnight.
