Fill ‘er up!
I took this photo of the Pike River earlier today. My work took me to Birch Point so I drove past the Pike River on Highway 77. Just a number of days ago there was not one drop of water flowing over the Pike River dam. Today, as is obvious, there is a healthy flow of water draining Lake Vermilion’s largest watershed area and topping off the lake.
And it looks like there is more water on the way. (Time sensitive link.)
