The Department of Natural Resource is preparing or revising lake management plans for 11 lakes just north of the Lake Vermilion area.
The DNR is inviting public comment on the draft plans. If you would like to pass along your thoughts on the subject or if you would like a copy of the draft plans please see the news release for additional details.
The lakes include Loon Lake, Eugene Lake, Little Vermilion Lake, Echo Lake, O’Leary Lake, Winchester Lake, Elephant Lake, Beast Lake, Pelican Lake, Loiten Lake and Heritage Lake.
