When I was a young lad I was bitten by one of these… these… rodents.

Sure they’re cute. Sure the kids and grandkids think they would make a great pet.

But I would be cautious. They pack quite a wallop. At least that’s the way I remember it.

The bold and brazen Eastern Chipmunk should be approached with caution. Why, just look at the devil-may-care attitude of these critters! This photo confirms it.
