One Blade Short of a Propeller.
As we begin the late Summer season, the lake water level typically begins to decrease. This year it appears we will, again, have very low Fall water levels.
Lake Vermilion is a relatively clean lake, in terms of underwater hazards. Nearly all of the hidden dangers are well marked. But the lower water levels will, of course, bring additional hazards to within reach of your lower unit.
So keep an eye out and boat safely.
