I stumbled on an interesting site supported by the U.S. Census Bureau called American FactFinder. It contains data gathered from the 2000 census. Please beware there are boatloads of numbers here. But with some patience and a little trial and error you can uncover some interesting census data.
For example, did you know the average age in Beatty Township is 54.6 years? Compare that to Greenwood Township with a slightly lower average of 53.4 years. (Find other facts on Beatty Township here and Greenwood Township here).
