Those Lake Vermilion walleyes are back in the news. Apparently our cherished finned friends are finding themselves quite comfortable in their new home out west. In fact, they have adapted to their new location ahead of schedule.

Canadian, eh?

If not for this significant occurrence 200 years ago, the folks in the Lake Vermilion area could be flying a flag of a different color.

There is a fairly steady stream of Lake Vermilion related items for sale on the internet. Ebay always has some sort of old or new item. (Check out this recent offering.)
