With the return of a traditional winter season this year, it can be reaffirmed that our area is significantly impacted by the business of outdoor winter activities.

After a day spent riding the local trails, I can tell you, firsthand, there is significant enthusiasm this year for those in the snowmobile community. I’m sure many that love the sport know the Minnesota DNR has updated trails conditions on the internet. The Taconite Trail is a main thoroughfare for the Lake Vermilion area. And one of the many trail stops in this area is the Chainsaw Sisters Saloon.
