It was a sluggish news day today.

Maybe the holiday weekend was slow to release it’s grip. Or maybe it’s the less than Spring-like weather. The lake is white with ice but there are signs of hope.

The MN Department of Transportation has issued a list of area construction projects. The DNR is alerting us to the fact that Mothers Day will occur one week after the Fishing Opener. (So you can take your Mom fishing.) And the Spring burning restrictions (for the Lake Vermilion area) will go into effect on April 15th and 22nd.
