November iceIce In.

The warm November has delayed ice making on the lake. I am not aware of a historical record of the Lake Vermilion “ice-in” dates (although maybe the Sportman’s Club keeps track of the dates) but I know we normally have some ice coverage on the smaller bays by mid-November.

It’s a time of transition when lake travel will become treacherous.

So… once again, be careful!
