Cold snap

Northern Minnesota (among other places) has been on an arctic roller coaster the last several days. (The chart shows actual area temperatures from noon last Thursday to noon today.) The frigid temperatures have crystallized most outdoor activity on or near Lake Vermilion since late last week. Some might claim this weather is one of the reasons we live here. Others might suggest it’s one of the reasons we should leave. Accommodating a freeze like this is really just a matter of preparation, common sense, and good old-fashioned bundling up.

We’re headed for zero plus tomorrow! Maybe it’ll snow!
