Snow on roofSnow Update.

The recent freeze/thaw cycle has compacted the snow cover.

The snow conditions on the lake are improved with a mostly firm and level surface. Isolated areas of slush remain but they are much smaller and fewer in number.

Snowmobile and ski trail conditions remain good to very good.

The off-trail snow depth is reduced from a couple of weeks ago. Foot travel in the woods continues to be less than ideal with a remaining snow depth of +/- 24″ topped by a new crust layer.

It’s snowing as I type this.
