Survey Says.
The local Department of Natural Resources Fisheries Office (Tower, MN) is planning their annual Lake Vermilion fish survey or “fish population assessment”.
Several methods are used to determine fish numbers, including gill nets, trap nets, shoreline seining, and electro fishing.
Lake Vermilion is surveyed every year!
