Juror pinTime In The Box.

It’s been an interesting week.

Although it is an activity that completely interrupts the normal routine, I have to say that the last several days spent in a jury box was a memorable experience.

The call to serve on a jury is described as both an honor and a privilege. I would agree that it is both.

This was my first time as a juror. I had the pleasure of working with a six others who confronted the responsibility with the honest attention is deserved. We heard a serious and compelling case that made us all, I believe, thankful for a judicial system that produces the opportunity for all to seek a just decision. This week I was reminded how easy it is to take that for granted.

Case dismissed.
