In The Headlights.
The State of Minnesota website offers us all a cautionary message this week related to the all-to-common-at-this-time-of-year deer/automobile accident.
The article hits close to home with this familial unit as the steady and reliable daily transport for one Brenda Tibbetts was just involved in such an incident. (See photo.) Yes, son Ben unfortunately piloted the “Silver Bullet” into an unexpected intersection with one of these white-tailed woodland creatures.
He “hit a deer”.
Thankfully, Ben and others were not hurt. The deer, sadly, was all hurt.
So take it easy on these northern roads. The deer are on the move. It can be a tough combination when you are, too.
