Random News.

New listings have been slow in coming the past several weeks. That’s typical for the holiday time of year. But there is other Lake Vermilion related news.

Also, in a crapsmack of news from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources… a reminder that your 2005 Fishing License does not expire at the end of the calendar year. It is valid through the end of February 2006. The DNR also remains on the leading edge of developing technologies by offering a downloadable podcast for your new Christmas Ipod . Load up your new MP3 player with their “Ice Fishing Tips” podcast from this web link. And finally, the DNR has suggested that Indiana seems to be hands down the most likely state to provide us with our next game violator. Indiana anglers violated Minnesota fishing regulations on three separate occurrences in 2005.
