SpringtimeSpring!

Although a visit to the local woods may not show much evidence of it… it is time to recognize the start of our annual well-fought emergence from Winter.

And as far as the calendar shows, we have turned the corner into a new season. Today is the first day of Spring! Today at 12:26PM (Central Standard Time) to be specific.

There is a generous cover of snow in the Lake Vermilion area but the increasingly empowered sun continues to whittle away the snowpack. I say let it happen!

If the calendar says it’s over then who are we to argue.
