Cold Feet.
The lake is making excellent progress in it’s annual effort to reduce ice content.
Warm days and warm nights have resulted in open water near most shorelines. And some shallower and/or smaller bays are partially open. If the lake opens before April 30th, it will be earlier than the historical average.
The time is near for dipping your feet back into Lake Vermilion waters.
