Take Me Fishing.
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is reminding us that the Fishing Opener is ominent.
May 12th to be exact.
The overall interest in the sport of fishing is trending down so the DNR has introduced a campaign to recruit and retain fishing enthusiasts. There are new electronic billboards (not one of those Las Vegas quality displays, I hope) to countdown the days to the fishing season and a website called takemefishing.org intended to promote an activity that, to some, needs to promotion.
Go fish.
