Movie theater adSmall Town Cinema.

I’ve said it before.

I like living in (near) a small town.

It goes without saying, however, that small town life is not for everyone. There are countless compromises.

But it is curious how often a small town will nudge you with a “that’s why you live here” type of reminder. Little things like… the personal attention from business people, no traffic lights, no standing in line, the number of people who know your name… simple things that by themselves are not necessarily significant but as a whole define some of the advantages of small town living.

This periodic advertisement by our local movie theatre offered a reminder of small town goodness. The Comet Theatre in Cook, MN is a unique establishment. It offers gourmet coffee, unique gifts, and an original and authentic movie viewing experience.

(Please be mindful of the requirement that a minimum of 4 people must be in attendance for the movie to be shown.)

Visit the Comet Theatre here. (And say “Hi” when you’re in town.)
