To The Lake.
It’s Fishing Opener Eve. The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has a few reminder notes to put in your tackle box before you go out the door:
1) Be prepared for low water levels when launching your boat.
2) Get the lead-based lures out of your tackle box and the environment.
3) Be aware of the extreme local fire conditions this year.
4) Wear that PFD because falling into cold water is extra dangerous.
5) Help stop the spread of all aquatic invasive species.
6) And… be sure to catch a big fish.
