I’ve read it’s not a good idea to tell people why you have been absent from posting.

There are two reasons… 1) it assumes there is actual interest in the topic by previous readers and 2) an explanation for the absence probably make for lousy reading anyway.

I believe this blogging phenomena is still a “learn while you earn” experiment as my truancy is not without fellow sufferers. A search for why “I haven’t posted” produces 340,000+ entries.

Anyway… we must march on. The prime Lake Vermilion real estate season for 2007 is, for all purposes, in the record books. It looks to be an interesting 2008. Strong inventory. Good values. Motivated sellers.
