Hello, Mom?

As we all know, Mom knows what’s best for us.

So when there is discussion that might impact the official day we honor Mom, a.k.a. Mother’s Day, we should tread lightly. There is currently a proposal in Minnesota to do just that.

It potentially changes the start day of the fishing season which, historically, is also the Day for Mother. Now, it may be that Mom would appreciate not having to share her day with the walleyes. In fact, it is easy to assume that this would most likely be the case. But… I think we should check with Mom first… just to be safe.
