The removal of hazard and navigation buoys on Lake Vermilion is scheduled to begin October 25th. That event, as of this year, has been pushed back from the previous removal date of October 1st. (The removal would begin sooner if the water surface temperature drops to 35 degrees Fahrenheit.)
